Job Description

Digital Learning DesignerPermanentFull TimeAre you a talented Digital Design Designer with experience in the Learning and Development field, experienced in producing high quality learning solutions that serve the learning needs of the business. If so, Id like to speak to you. Im partnering with aclient in the North of Manchester looking for a Digital Learning Specialist to join their growing team.You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and will be a creative and innovative thinker with first class IT and communication skills.The Digital Learning Designers primary focus will be to work closely with the Head of Learning and Development to create and drive an innovative and engaging digital learning agenda. You will play an integral role in providing innovative and alternative solutionsto the traditional learning methods used, with a truly blended learning approach suitable for all end users.This role will also ensure the successful management and optimisation of our LMS.Key responsibilities of the Digital Learning Designer:* Forward thinking and innovative when creating digital learning material, using modern techniques and concepts.* Able to take on a clear vision and present viable learning proposals, using storyboards or a similar approach.* Can take complex concepts and break them down to learning segments for digital learning that provides an engaging learning experience.* Able to effectively measure/track and report on digital training, offering the appropriate* solutions when required to maximise learning completion.* Maintains and reviews all digital material on a periodic basis ensuring they are up to date within the Learning Management System.* Able to work on multiple digital jobs simultaneously and demonstrate clear planning to meet your deadlines.* Will fully manage and optimise the current LMS (TalentLMS).* Produces future-proof recommendations within digital learning that put the learner experience at the heart, which also includes cost and resource implications.* Maintains awareness of any budgets and resources relevant to digital learning.Key requirements for the Digital Learning Designer:* Experience of working with Learning Management Systems and L&D software/digital platforms such as Articulate 360 or Captivate is essential for this role.* Proven experience of creating SCORM compliant e-learning content* Able to create video based content for learning* In-depth knowledge of learning theories, models and evaluation methods.* Ability to build and manage relationships effectively* Highly detail-oriented and able to manage both daily tasks and multiple projects simultaneously (project management experience - desirable)* Comfortable using graphic design tools such as the Adobe Creative Suite* Ability to deliver effective feedback that drives engagement and overall capability* Strong communication skillsThis opportunity would not suit someone with solely Training Delivery experience; digital design and use of digital platforms and programs as detailed above is a must have for this role.If you are interested in this Digital Learning Designer position and feel your experience matches the criteria, then please apply now for immediate consideration or for more information please contact Kerry Norman.Medlock Partners are a professional services recruitment specialist operating across the North West of England.
