Job Description

Job Title: Communication Support WorkerPosition: Temporary on goingLocation: Middleton and RochdaleSalary: From £20phREED Further Education are recruiting Communication support workers in Middleton and Rochdale.Our client is looking for communication support workers to join there ever growing supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a large team and secure work for the full academic year. The role of communication support workers is to supportstudents who are hard of hearing and/or deaf inside an outside of the classroom.The successful Communication Support Worker will have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Experience working with deaf students/young adults in either a high school setting, college setting or support and care setting.
  • A minimum of level 2 in English and Maths.
  • A minimum BSL level 3 qualification.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the update service or the willingness to obtain one.
