Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Software Applications and Development Manager based in Meriden, Solihull. This is a permanent job opportunity to play a strategic part in leading our IT applications functions to help shape/influence their new directionusing new cutting-edge technologies.Candidates applying for this role should have the following skills and experience: -

  • Team and people management, covering several technology stacks, some deprecated.
  • Management and influencer of 3rd party suppliers.
  • Experience working in Microsoft Azure.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Dev Ops.
  • Microsoft technology stack, Power Platform and an appreciation for newer cutting-edge technologies such as AI and automation.
  • Understanding of Website development and hosting, umbraco, .Net core
  • On-premises to cloud (Azure) migrations, with financial systems (ERP/CRM) applications (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365)
  • Technical debt management (measured working approach)
  • Problem and Change Management.
  • Implement solutions.
  • Input ideas to drive new technology in the business.
Due to the nature of the role, it is 5 days per week from their office in the West Midlands working Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:30 offering a salary of £65,000 - £75,000 depending on experience.Pertemps are the UKs largest independent recruitment agency, possessing over six decades of rich history and are dedicated to the development of our people having been awarded for the Princess Royal Training Award which recognises how we constantly raisethe bar and act as a beacon for excellent practice.
