Job Description

Operating in the role of Principal Contractor for over 65% of our orderbook, we provide Turn-key’ packages from pre-construction to final handover.In the multi-disciplined role of Bid & Pre-Construction Coordinator you will see projects through from tender stage to completion, working collaboratively with our Bid & Office Manager to provide cross departmental support through the entire life cycle ofa project.About the RoleAs a Bid & Pre-Construction Coordinator your key responsibilities will involve;

  • Produce high scoring written tender responses.
  • Provide cover for the Bid Manager.
  • Attend and contribute to tender and operations progress meeting.
  • Prepare site files both electronic and physical.
  • Set up document templates for the production of, Method Statements, Construction Phase Plans, Environmental Plans, etc.
  • Assist with the production and issue completion files to clients.
  • Monitoring of generic company email addresses.
  • Preparing documents/reports for meeting.
  • Assist in production of company newsletter.
  • Arranging service disconnections.
  • Preparation and submittal of planning notices to local authorities.
About YouAs a Bid & Pre-Construction Coordinator your minimum skills should include:
  • Demonstratable experience in writing high scoring written tender responses.
  • Excellent literacy and proof reading skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel etc (Project desirable but not essential)
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload.
Working HoursThe position is full time office based, working 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday.PLEASE NOTEDue to our location, this position would be more suitable to those who have their own transport.Strictly no agencies.
