Mepal, Cambridgeshire£30,000pa to £40,000pa DOE6am to 6pm, 4 on / 4 off shift patternAre you a Co-Generation / CHP Engineer who is self-motivated with the ability to work independentlyWould you be interested working for a cutting edge and rapidly growing renewable energy businessWe are currently recruiting for a multi skilled, self-motivated, and forward- thinking individual to join our clients engineering team. This position is suitable for experienced engineers with strong working knowledge of both mechanical and electrical engineeringmaintenance.Forming part of a 4 man team, you will work across 7 CHPs and ORC carrying out routine servicing and breakdown repairs. You will also be assisting in other areas of the Co-generation zone working on heat management rooms, a biogas upgrader, biomass pelletingfacility.Due to working across 2 sites, applicants must hold a valid full UK drivers licence.What you will be doing:

Carry out repairs, maintenance and servicing on CHP engines, compressors and pumps in accordance with the schedules set by the maintenance managers
Keeping down time to a minimum
Electrical maintenance of site equipment
It is important that work is done in a timely and organized manner, is of high-quality whilst always adhering to Health & Safety best practice.
Liaise and communicate with sub-contractors on maintenance issues
Record keeping of work via maintenance logging system

About you:

Previous experience as a mechanical engineer working with engines - gas engines would be an advantage
Mechanical maintenance experience with an industrial or manufacturing background - relevant qualifications would be desirable
Strong problem solving skills
Ability to work well alone and as part of a small team
Some electrical experience or knowledge would be desirable
Full UK drivers licence
Strong communication skills
Organisational skills
