Mepal, Cambridgeshire£35,000pa to £40,000pa DOE6am to 6pm, 4 on / 4 off shift patternAre you an experienced electrical maintenance engineer with an industrial or manufacturing background who has carried out repairs, maintenance and installation Are you confident in mechanical worksWould you be interested working for a cutting edge and rapidly growing renewable energy businessAs part of the in-house Engineering team, you will be working across 2 sites, carrying out electrical repairs, maintenance, installation, electrical testing, and inspections in a timely manner across all machinery and plant equipment.This is varied position, working across the 2 sites in all weather and working independently so having time management skills, ability to use your initiative and communication skills for when you require assistance will be important to be successful in thisposition.Due to working across 2 sites, applicants must hold a valid full UK drivers licence.What you will be doing:

Carry out electrical repairs and maintenance in accordance with the schedules set by the maintenance managers
Reactive maintenance, fault finding, diagnostic checks and repair of electrical / electronic and mechanical nature on various production machinery and equipment
Installation, electrical testing, inspection and fault-finding to a high standard
It is important that work is done in a timely and organized manner, is of high-quality whilst always adhering to Health & Safety best practice.
Liaise and communicate with sub-contractors on maintenance issues
Record keeping of work via maintenance logging system

About you:

Experienced electrical maintenance engineer with an industrial or manufacturing background - relevant qualifications would be desirable
Strong problem solving skills for fault finding and investigation
Experienced in control panel modifications
Strong knowledge of Electrics and Electronics- 3phase systems, safety circuits. SCADA & Networks would be desirable
Confident with mechanical work
Full UK drivers licence
Strong communication skills
Organisational skills
