Job Description

National Account Managers are required to join a rapidly growing Logistics Provider. Hybrid role with regular travel to clients across the UK. Salary in the region of £45 - £70K+ commission.Our Client has over 20 years experience of in providing logistics and technology solutions to manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.Offering a multi-carrier shipping platform and solutions from goods arriving in the warehouse, pick-pack-dispatch, and delivery to the end customer including mail, parcels, pallets, full loads, air and sea freight throughout the UK, Europe, and Globally.The Role:

  • The National Account Manager will work with clients in the North West / M6 corridor or the East Midlands
  • Your primary role is to manage a portfolio of existing customers
  • You will Identify sales opportunities by understanding customer Logistics needs and presenting win-win value solutions
  • Maximise and grow sales revenues and margin
  • Work with Customers, Procurement and Operations Teams to identify and deliver innovative value added solutions.
  • Sell the value of technology solutions that help customers reduce costs and grow, sustainably.
  • Consistently deliver results for a fast-growing business focused on customer success
  • Develop customers requirements and look for business wins for all parties
Whom we are looking for:
  • A proven track record of Account Management success within logistics
  • Strong logistics understanding, ideally gained within a 3PL/4PL
  • Expert knowledge of road, sea and air freight, parcels, packets, pallets and containers
  • Demonstrable experience and knowledge of vehicle/transport/ocean logistics
  • Ability to communicate and present at all levels within both internal and external organizations
  • Ability to work on your own initiative
  • Able to work and remain in the UK without the need for sponsorship
  • Driving license and the ability to travel across the UK on a regular basis
What is on offerSalary in the region of £45 - £70K p/a + Commission. Private healthcare, Hybrid work policy.
