Job Description

Our client is looking for a mechanically biased Engineering technician to join their family business at their York site in Melbourne.Your role:- Deliver preventative, corrective and reactive support for the operations team.- Ensure all aspects of the site are up and running at all times.- Make sure all manufacturing assets are running efficiently and reliably.- Identify potential failures and create corrective or preventative tasks, including the judgement of time and parts needed.- Be the first point of contact in the event of machine or asset failure to make sure problems are resolved quickly and correctlyThe ideal candidate will:- Be an effective communicator- Hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification- Be mechanically biased- Have minimum of 3 years in mechanical and/or electrical engineeringIf you think you could be a good fit for this job, apply through this advert or email.
