A growing, family-run business, they are looking for a driven individual with a passion for IT and handling projects to join their team as a Project Coordinator, based in Martlesham, Ipswich.Project Coordinator£20-25K DOE | Mon-Fri 8:30am - 5:00pm | Martlesham, Ipswich | Family-Run | 20 Days Holiday, Bank Holidays Off, Birthday Off | Unrivalled Christmas Party | Pool-table and Dartboard in Staff RoomAs a Project Coordinator you will oversee multiple projects and must display excellent customer facing skills, and will be able to demonstrate the ability to communicate technical issues in non-technical terms.You will work as part of a team delivering excellent customer service, in an office based project coordinator position, responsible for keeping customers up to date on all aspects of a project, assigns duties to resources, and assists others so even complicated tasks come to completion in an orderly and timely manner.Duties (include but are not limited to):

  • Maintaining a high degree of customer service using excellent communication skills (email, telephone and occasionally face-to-face).
  • Communicating with customers, understanding their business needs and assisting with the creation of enhancement scope documents and project schedules.
  • Designs the overall schedule and tasks for a project and makes necessary adjustments if and when problems arise.
  • Assigns various tasks to team members that relate to the completion of a specific project, eg Development / Professional Services / Infrastructure.
  • To keep the Customer updated regarding their Project, by Email, Telephone and online reveal meetings.
  • To Test the Configuration and Development at a task level during the Project Cycle and evidence this in the QAT and UAT Documents.
  • To give constructive feedback to the Development / Professional Services / Infrastructure teams, regarding the tasks they have created and completed.
  • Motivate others and build enthusiasm for a project by keeping focused on its main objectives and the rewards for completion.
  • Following project management processes
  • Keeps upper management in the loop by preparing project updates and presentations that showcase a projects value and status.
  • Participates in additional training to stay up to date on the solutions which our Client sells, builds and utilises.
