This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual with a strong background in accounting whois eager to further their career in a rewarding and supportive environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in our finance department, working closely with our Finance Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our financial systemsand processes.Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the Finance Manager in the preparation and monitoring of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support business growth and sustainability.
Management Accounts: Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, providing insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
VAT Returns: Prepare and submit VAT returns in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations.
Bank Reconciliation: Manage and reconcile bank accounts, ensuring accurate and timely recording of transactions.
Payroll Processing: Assist with the preparation and processing of monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with payroll regulations.
Audit Support: Support the annual audit process, liaising with auditors and providing necessary documentation and information.
Ad-hoc Reporting: Provide financial analysis and support to other departments as required, assisting with special projects and initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:

Part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with relevant experience in a similar role.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
