Trades Supervisor - Housing Maintenance and Repairs£37,558 + Van + Fuel CardMobile covering Leicester and Market HarboroughPermanent, Full Time Build your career at Platform Property Care!Our Responsive Repairs team now have a great opportunity for a Supervisor to join the leadership team in the East Midlands covering an area based around Leicester, Market Harborough, Northampton, and to support their ambitious plans to grow their team inthis area.What could you be doingAs one of two Supervisors you will be supervising a multi skill trades team, providing practical and technical support, and assisting the Service Manager to deliver the operational objectives ensuring all works are completed efficiently and effectively whilstengaging the team to bring their best. In conjunction with the Service Manager, your focus will be to support, coach, motivate and engage the team to achieve service objectives, embedding the Bring Your Best Values, and promoting a customer centric approachof value for money’ and right first time.’By analysing data and measuring performance, you will work closely with the trades teams and your Service Manager to support a customer focussed maintenance service, delivering repairs meeting the required SLAs. You will also assist the Service Manager withthe completion of daily, weekly, and monthly business objectives.We would like someone who has:

A suitable trade qualification - this is essential
Experience of working within a multi-skilled environment
Experience of working within a customer focussed environment
Social Housing repairs experience
Ability to make key decisions, comfortable with responsibility and accountability for successful outcomes in service delivery
Demonstrable experience of supervising or managing a team and leading by example is essential
Excellent problem-solving ability, a solutions-focussed approach and comfortable working within a continuous improvement environment
Strong communication skills with the ability to develop good working relationships
IT Literacy is a must, experience with EXCEL and other Microsoft packages
A full driving licence is essential

As you will be working in Customers’ homes you will also need a DBS check.This mobile role is based in the East Midlands Northampton, Leicester, Market Harborough area - so you will need to live within this patch - but will require occasional travel to other regional sectors as required. This could include training and meetingsat other locations including Birmingham, Worcester, Louth, Skegness, or Matlock.Cover for out of hours Duty Manager may be required.Part of Platform Housing Group, Platform Property Care is a well-established property maintenance business.
