Job Description

Stone PolisherSalary £24,000-£26,000 dependant on experiencePermanent - full timeMansfield NG18Mansfield Worktops are looking for an experienced stone polisher to join our friendly team at our Mansfield Factory.Your Responsibilities:

  • Grinding & polishing stone surfaces to various finishes using different tools, including grinders & polishers.
  • Using digital template drawings to ensure the product meets the required specifications.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure the product is ready to leave the factory as specified to a high standard.
  • Keeping you work area clean & tidy and ensuring finished products are ready for collection in finished goods area.
  • Adhering to health & safety standards & quality standards.
  • Prioritising your workload & communicating with the Production Manager when required.
You Must:
  • Have at least 2 years experience working in the stone industry
  • Have experience working with a variety of equipment including angel grinders & wet air polishers.
  • Be flexible & prepared to work overtime when required.
  • Be organised & tidy.
  • Be a team player.
  • Hold a full UK Drivers Licence
This is a permanent full time role subject to completion of a 3 month probation period. The salary offered is between £24,000-£26,000 dependant on experience.
