There are a number of wonderful benefits that youll access being a part of our inclusive team including 27.5 days holiday (with an additional 6 daysflexi time), an option to work in a hybrid way, a great civil service pension scheme, generous gym membership contribution, and support for your professional membership.About the Principal Contracts Manager: As a key member of Environment Sustainability & Strategy Department and as part of the Operations Directorate, ourPrincipal Contracts Managerwill lead a small team of multi-disciplinary professionals in the management and operation ofthe Coal Authoritys mine water treatment, data monitoring and water level management assets.Working closely with our chosen service providers, you will lead the delivery of a multi-million pound service contract ensuring: operational, environmental and Health & Safety compliance and implementing the highest standards of financial and contract governance.You will be required to work closely with internal stakeholders to support the Coal Authoritys wider corporate objectives and be a key contact for external stakeholders and customers i.e. regulators, funding authorities, government agencies and local residents.You will support the Coal Authoritys values of: Trusted, Inclusive and Progressive in all aspects of the role.About our Principal Contracts Manager:
