Job Description

Maintenance Engineer mechanical bias- Manufacturing PVC-UNottinghamshireMon - Fri DaysC£30-35k depn on experienceWe have a fab opportunity for an experienced maintenance engineer to work for our hugely successful manufacturing client.Established for over 25 years and with ambitious growth plans the company offer a friendly and supportive working environment.Reporting into the engineering manager and working as part of a team you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting planned and preventative maintenance of PVCu / aluminium manufacturing production machinery
  • Attending breakdowns, fault finding, applying fixes to ensure continuation of production.
  • Working on fusion welding, heater plate, welding, and clipping machinery
  • Mainly mechanical fault finding with some electrical
  • This is a days shift Monday - Friday.
    • The successful candidate for the role must have:
  • Experience of maintaining production machinery used in manufacturing PVCu
  • Experienced in undertaking planned and preventative maintenance on Sturtz and Urban machinery
  • Mechanical bias with some electrical knowledge
