LASER DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER / MANSFIELD / FLEXIBLE HOURS / COMPETITIVE PAY & GREAT BENEFITSAre you an experienced Laser Development Engineer, looking for a rewarding new role If so, we have a fantastic new opportunity, offering excellent pay and great perks!Our client is looking to recruit a fully skilled and experienced CO2 (RF) Laser Beam Development Engineer.The successful candidate will support their Research and Development team on dedicated CO2 Laser developments for the Self-Adhesive label industries.Whats on Offer

Key Responsibilities of the Laser Development Engineer:
  • Develop and test newly developed machine with detail reporting.
  • Prepare machines for sale and delivery to customer.
  • Undertake Installation and Customer training at customers location.
  • Installation, Service, and Repair at customer locations.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Must be fully trained, experienced, and knowledgeable of all application of the (RF) CO2 Metal laser tube set-up with 2D and 3D galvanometer system scanning heads and controlling software.
  • Experience of the different style of Laser cutting, "Kiss Cut" "Through Cut" "Perforations" would be an advantage. Knowledge of Laser application Health and Safety.
Skills & Experience:
  • Must be able to analyse, design, suggest, development of new models.
  • Experience of CO2 metal tube, Scanning heads system set-up.
  • Ability to Fault find on technical products.
  • Customer facing skills.
  • Ability to work alone with self-motivation.
  • Ability to work across different product platforms
  • Willing to learn new skills.
  • Ability to understand Computer software related programs.
