Job Description

CAD Designer/Technician | Nottingham | 37.5 hour week | 8:30am5pm | Salary starting at £25,000 +based on experienceOur client is a sign company turned exhibition/event company, who have a turnkey solution when It comes to producing branding. From metal work to large format printing, they are proud to be much more than a typical graphics company.Your main focus will be on individual projects, from design to the nuts and bolts of how the company manufacture.Please note that you must be within a 45 minute commute for this role.Are you the right person for the job

  • 1-2 years working experience in either Vectorworks or Solidworks would be ideal
  • An understanding of the Event/exhibition or sign industry would be helpful
  • Keen to solve problems and provide solutions
What will your role as a CAD Designer/Technician look like
  • To produce technical drawings for the companys bespoke aluminium tension systems working alongside the production and project teams
  • Create detailed technical drawings explaining the nuts and bolts of basic metalwork
  • Working with Research and development part of the business to improve products
  • Show innovative ideas

  • 21 days annual leave to start, and gain 1 day for every year served (up until 25 days)
