Job Description

Business Development ManagerNegotiable Basic Salary w/ Uncapped CommissionNorth WestThe CompanyAn expanding cloud networking installer and managed services provider in their growth phase. They specialise in the creation, installation, maintenance and support of cloud networking solutions, SD-Wan, WAN, LAN, WiFi installation and structured cablingprojects at an enterprise levelThe RoleThe objective of this role will be to open doors and identify key strategic target commercial projects for cloud networking solutions with clients at an SME to Enterprise level. You will build relationships and partnerships with clients and support withproject management dutiesDay to Day

  • Devising an effective strategy to identify and target prospective clients
  • Developing growth strategies and plans
  • Net new business focused, you will increase your client base through proactive business development methods and techniques
  • Conversion of warm leads and opportunities
  • Managing and retaining relationships with existing clients
  • Expanding existing accounts by winning new projects
  • Having an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition
  • Writing business proposals
  • Negotiating with stakeholders
  • Identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs
  • Researching business opportunities and viable income streams
  • Following industry trends locally and internationally
  • Drafting and reviewing contracts
  • Reporting on successes and areas needing improvements
  • Following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings
  • Planning and preparing presentations
  • Communicating new product developments to prospective clients
  • Overseeing the development of marketing literature
  • Maintaining relationships with staff and updating them on project developments

Could This Be You
  • Ideally you will have sold within the cloud networking space, although any strong sales pedigree in selling IT centric products and solutions would be suitableIT infrastructure, network infrastructure, structured cabling, IT architecture, Connectivity
  • A new business hunters mentality
  • Experience in a proactive sales role selling solutions is essential
  • Ability to consultatively sell to clients and a level of technical proficiency when articulating our service provision
