Job Description

Business Support OfficerA Business Support Officer is required for an exciting and fast growing young medical device company. Phagenesis Ltd is at the forefront of neurological rehabilitation medicine and has developed unique electromedical products to treat swallowing dysfunction arising from brain injury.The position reports to the Quality Manager and involves both Quality Control activities e.g. product inspection and release, product supply management including customer services and responsibility of the company IT systems.The ideal candidate will enjoy working in small teams and look forward to a challenge of setting up and improving processes in areas of responsibility and across the business. Having at least 3 years experience spent working within a complex office environment. Experience of working in a healthcare environment would be an advantage.Responsibilities:

Product inspection (incoming and outgoing inspections of Base Stations and Catheters),

Product testing prior to shipment (electrical safety testing).

Review and approval of incoming product documentation (Device History Records, Sterilization paperwork).

Product complaint handling (arranging replacement product, returns from the field, fault finding of Base Stations).

Initiation of customer orders; receipt, processing and fulfilment of customer orders; initiation of internal contract review processes. Communicating of order progress to Sales team.

Processing, packing and shipment of customer orders.

Customer feedback, processing of feedback forms and other customer communications.

Product supply management, stock control, liaising with Sales Team on forecasts, product availability.

Monitoring of Loan agreements and arranging Loan product returns from the field.

Liaising with external IT company to maintain and improve company systems.

Warehouse management (consumable stock management, correct storage of product, labelling of product, housekeeping and managing cleaning and pest control suppliers).

Raising Non conformity (NCMR’s / SCAR’s) documentation for rejected product.

Liaising with suppliers regarding rework of product / product investigations.

Product traceability (maintaining / updating of spreadsheet)

Management of quarantine cage

Stock counts.
