Empowering Learning are recruiting a Teaching Assistant on behalf of a Droylsden based secondary school for an ASAP or September 2022 startContract: Term Time OnlyHours: 32.5 per week (8.30am until 3.30pm daily)Start Date: ASAP/5th September 2022We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our Learning Support Team.There would be the opportunity to gain your Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification with the Academy.As a Teaching Assistant you will supervise individuals and groups of children in order to accelerate their progress and learning, working in close liaison with teaching staff and leaders to ensure students catch-up with their learning (enabling them to do welland access the full curriculum).You will also work with the Director of Special Educational Needs and Learning Support to assist with the planning and delivery of the Key Skills and Catch-Up group work-shops and support teachers to ensure such students develop good and great attitudes tolearning.From 1st January 2022, The Academy has become the founding member of its Trust.The SchoolThe Academy is a good school; this is a very exciting time to join us as we continue to build a team of committed professionals who are driven in making our vision of becoming outstanding a reality."Pupils behave well, they are proud of their school and take on leadership roles readily""The schools core values of politeness, hardworking and honesty are in abundance""Pupils are interested in their learning because teachers have excellent subject knowledge and plan carefully"The Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and we expect all staff to share this commitment.
