Job Description

Senior .NET DeveloperRobert Half Technology is delighted to have partnered with an exciting tech business to recruit a Senior .NET Developer, as they enter a new phase of growth within their IT department. The business has a great track record of investing heavily in their developersand setting them up for success, supporting with Microsoft qualifications and other courses that candidates can take advantage of. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious developer to expand their skillset, both on the technical side utilising cuttingedge technologies, as well as having the chance to coach and mentor a talented team of Junior Software Developers.Role:As part of this multi-disciplined team, you will develop and maintain a suite of bespoke applications, including greenfield projects, across a varied and exciting technology stack. Some of your key responsibilities will be as follows:

  • End to end development of bespoke applications and analytics-based solutions while adhering to best practices.
  • Coaching and mentoring Junior Software Developers within the team.
  • Drive the Full Stack Development lifecycle forwards, adopting and introducing leading industry practices.
  • Gather requirements for new pieces of functionality/projects.
  • Keep up to date with new technologies, techniques, testing and documentation.
  • Liaise with stakeholders in the business for the delivery of projects.
  • Manage the business-as-usual queries and change requests.
Competencies:
  • Methodical and analytical mindset.
  • Great interpersonal/communication skills, with the ability to engage with the team.
  • Proactive approach to managing and prioritising workload.
Technical skills:
  • Proficiency in the following technologies: C#/.NET Core/React/JavaScript.
  • Experience creating and consuming REST APIs.
  • Experience with relational database technologies, such as SQL Server or T-SQL.
  • Experience mentoring Junior Developers.
Desirable:
  • Cloud exposure, ideally Azure.
