Job Description

IT Helpdesk Analyst - Manchester/WFHOne of IT Bods leading clients is an established, professional services organisation based in Manchester City Centre. They are looking for an experienced IT Helpdesk Analyst with a background in Microsoft based operating systems with a focus on Windows 10 and MS Server 2016.This role will be split between working on site in Manchester and from home.Your main duties will be to provide first line helpdesk support to internal staff, assisting them with hardware & software problems via phone, and face to face.

  • Minimum of 12 months previous IT Helpdesk (telephone support) experience.
  • Excellent telephone manner and professional demeanour
  • Experience of using call logging software and managing calls within that software
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems with emphasis on Windows 10 and Server 2016
  • Experience with using and troubleshooting Microsoft Office 365 with emphasis on MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
  • Experience supporting users in a Citrix environment
  • Experience managing and supporting mobiles devices (specifically Blackberry and Apple devices)
  • Good understanding of PC hardware set-up and configuration.
  • Basic understanding of corporate networks
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work as a member of team or individually
  • Strong documentation and communication skills are essential
  • Excellent time keeping
  • Able to work under pressure in a busy Helpdesk environment
  • Microsoft 365 certification would be desirable but not essential
  • A+ certification desirable but not essential
  • Full Clean UK Driving license is desirable but not essential
  • Flexible to changing shift patterns
