Job Description

Robert Walters are excited to be representing a market leading, high growth PE backed business as they look to appoint a dynamic Group Statutory Reporting Manager to join their high calibre leadership team.Reporting directly into a Group Financial Controller known for development and strong leadership, this role will see you adding value through the development of statutory reporting systems, improved processes along with M&A activity.Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing annual statutory accounts (Group consolidated and individual entities), including liaison with external auditors and advisors
  • Leading the annual audit and be the main point of contact between the auditors and divisional finance teams
  • Ensure financial integrity of statutory accounts and management accounts, including adherence to FRS102 (for statutory reporting)
  • Compliance with statutory Corporation Tax and VAT requirements, working alongside external advisors
  • Coordinate all audits / visits from key stakeholders and ensure any suggested remedial actions are resolved in a timely manner
  • Be a key point of contact on technical accounting matters for the wider finance team including Divisional Finance Directors and their teams
  • Supporting bi-annual Budget process for Group Divisional BS & P&L cost centres
  • Supporting P&L, BS and Cashflow budgeting process for the consolidated Group
  • Responsible for cash forecasting and influencing entities within the Group to ensure that cash conversion and liquidity targets are achieved
  • Involvement in Group reorganisation projects (liquidations, hive-ups etc.)
  • Group insurance renewal
  • Readiness reviews in advance of Group exit from current PE cycle
  • Refinancing of Group borrowing
You as the successful individual:
  • Fully ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with 2+ years PQE
  • Technically strong with a good depth of understanding of consolidations and experience of financial reporting under FRS102 and IFRS.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to forge close working relationships
  • Ideally experience of working in a multi-site PE backed group
