Job Description

DBA Developer - HybridOur client is looking for an experienced DBA Developer to join their team on a permanent basis. The DBA Developer will be involved in Database Administration as well as developing the Database further. Currently all of the DBs are on premise, but in thefuture, they are looking to move to Azure, so they require someone to help with this task along with database development.You will be rewarded with an excellent salary, as well as a brilliant benefits package including hybrid working, pension scheme, free parking when on-site, healthcare, discount vouchers and many more perks!DBA DeveloperKey Skills:

  • Knowledge of SQL Server 2016+
  • Azure integration
  • MYSQL Administration
  • Database design and development
  • SSRS report writing
  • Excellent knowledge as a DBA in administration, design and implementation of backups, performance tuning, management, and provisioning of databases
  • Excellent knowledge Azure
  • Perform development DBA activity, performance tuning and SQL Server management
  • Be able to write performant SQL queries for reports and data extracts
  • Ensuring that storage and archiving procedures are functioning correctly
  • Capacity planning
  • Communicating regularly with technical, applications and operational staff to ensure database integrity and security
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Team player
  • Good time-management skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
