Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint an Anglican Chaplain to join the Chaplaincy and Spiritual Care Service at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. We are looking for a WTE 0.8 ( 30 Hours) Part time candidate as a Band 6 Chaplain.Set in a hugely diverse population, our team has many opportunities for the development of new and innovative ways of providing spiritual, religious and non-religious care for the service users and staff of the Trust. We work as a multi-faith team, supporting one another in caring for patients, staff and visitors from a vast range of diverse backgrounds and faiths. We are involved in training staff in their understanding of spiritual care as well as end of life and palliative care.Working with the team will involve working across all sites, out of hours calls and weekends. You will be fully accredited and authorised by your own denomination to become a chaplain and be able to show that you are in good standing with that body.
