Job Description

We’re looking for a Candidate Care Consultant to join Reed Community Care in ManchesterSalary: £25,000-£27,000 per annumHours: Full Time, Monday-Friday, PermanentWe offer dynamic working where you can work flexibly between home and office.The key purpose of the Care Consultant is to support a growing Community Care team, managing the candidate pool including the rota, ensuring that the personal care, independence, and choices or our service users are maintained according to the needs andcapabilities of the individual.This role encompasses support of service delivery requirements to maintain the highest standard of care and quality of service.Stakeholder and Care Management

  • Overall responsibility for the effective management of the candidates, working patterns via a roster system
  • Communicate/ action any shortfalls and high risk areas regarding care provision
  • Provide support across the care packages
  • Provide regular reviews or support documents and needs of the service users.
  • Effective communication with all key stakeholders and professionals.
  • Working collaboratively
  • Mentor new care workers
  • Identify care worker training needs
  • Promote service user participation
  • Ensure all compliance requirements are met
  • Support with payroll and queries
  • Promote ongoing growth of service provision.
Who we are looking for:
  • Proven experience within the care sector or similar.
  • NVQ/QCF level 2/3 or recognised health and social care qualification
  • Proven experience in managing large staffing teams and rotas
  • Clear understanding of responsibilities and risks surrounding confidentiality and safeguarding
  • Possess strong organisational skills
  • Promote positive company culture
  • Experience/ qualifications in using IT systems and databases
  • Self motivated to develop themselves and promote the business
