Business Development Executive Role:
  • Gain a comprehensive knowledge of Glenigan and NBS, their offering and the markets they operate within, in order to have valuable conversations with clients
  • Use researching tools and techniques to generate a pipeline of new business opportunities within the construction sector
  • Speak to the relevant B2B decision makers within prospect organisations and lapsed accounts via phone calls, emails and social channels, generating an interest in the company offering, and discussing their potential needs and how the Glenigan/NBS servicewould be beneficial to them
  • Book meetings for the Business Development Managers and work closely with them to ensure a high conversion rate of meetings to sales
  • Attend field events and industry exhibitions to find and develop qualified leads
  • Regularly maintain accurate records of sales activity the company CRM system (Salesforce) and perform reporting as required
Business Development Executive Requirements:
  • Educated to degree level
  • Possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skillsyou must really enjoy engaging with others on a regular basis
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritise your own time and workload
  • Self-motivated, confident and professional
  • Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
  • Ideally, youll have a proven track record with some B2B selling experience (this is beneficial, not essential!)
