Job Description

Join our fast-growing established company as a Business AnalystAs a Business Analyst joining our Project Delivery Team, youll help us deliver on a number of critical, high-priority initiatives, projects and programmes across our business. Were looking for an experienced Business Analyst who has a great track recordof applying critical thinking to helping businesses provide solutions.About usWere a leading provider of private insurance in the UK, and the name behind a number of other big household insurers. Youll work in our Operational Excellence area, working across a number of different products, systems and business areas. Monday to Friday, Full-Time, Permanent.As a Business Analyst, you will:

  • Analyse and document business problems and initiatives through creating project briefs and investment appraisals.
  • Liaise with customers to identify and record requirements
  • Document and analyse as-is and to-be processes
  • Help colleagues make informed decisions with your feasibility studies, business cases and gap-analysis documents.
  • Support and lead across a range of interactions from meetings, interviews and workshops.
  • Work with team leaders/managers to help identify and prepare resource for project tasks.
  • Contribute to the development of the Business Analysis function.
  • Travel may be required as appropriate to undertake the tasks assigned.
What were looking for someone who:
  • Ideally holds a professional qualification(s) such as BCS (British Computer Society) and/or IIBA (International Institute of Business Analysis) or alternatively, hold the relevant experience and knowledge in the workplace
  • Is experienced in requirements gathering
  • Has a broad portfolio of analysis work across multiple projects in a challenging environment.
  • Is experienced in working across a range of business areas and functions.
  • Has proven experience managing diverse groups of stakeholders and relationship building.
  • Exposure and input into the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process.
  • Ability to quickly understand various internal/external business and system processes.
  • Strong and progressive understanding of the business analysis discipline
  • Demonstrates good analytical and creative thinking.
  • Proven ability to provide innovation, value-add and fresh insight.
  • An understanding of the project lifecycle.
