Job Description

Area Sales Manager - Kitchen Doors & AccessoriesJob Title: Area Sales Manager - Kitchen Doors & AccessoriesIndustry Sector: Kitchens, Kitchen Surfaces, Kitchen Doors, Kitchen Cabinets, Kitchen Appliances, Kitchen Accessories, Kitchen Retailers, KBB Retailers, Construction Sales, Area Sales Manager, Sales ManagerArea to be covered: North WestRemuneration: £35,000 + £15,000 annual bonusBenefits: Audi hybrid company car & full benefitsThe role of the Area Sales Manager - Kitchen Doors & Accessories will involve:

  • Field sales position promoting a high end quality range of distributed kitchen doors & components (started manufacturing all timber products in-house this year)
  • 80% of your time will be spent selling to independent kitchen retailers and kitchen showrooms
  • The remaining 20% of your time will be spent selling to kitchen manufacturers, cabinet manufacturers / OEMs
  • Inheriting a territory that is currently turning over £1m, currently performing slightly below budget post Covid, so fantastic opportunity to make a name for yourself
  • Circa 200-250 accounts with 100 active spending accounts
  • 80% account management role, 20% new business development
  • There will be a good split on managing and expanding existing relationships and generating new business
  • Working closely with and reporting into National Sales Manager
The ideal applicant will be Area Sales Manager - Kitchen Doors & Accessories with:
  • Experience selling into retail showrooms, kitchen or KBB showrooms preferred but not essential
  • Must have field sales experience
  • Hungry driven sales personality, looking to better themselves
  • Longevity in previous jobs, or excellent reasons for quick career moves
  • Ideally from a kitchens product background (however open on product background)
  • Ideally sold high end products rather than on price
  • Comfortable with working in a competitive environment
  • Confident people person with a genuine desire to succeed
  • Organised, dynamic and self motivated
