Job Description

Specialising in consumer products, this injection moulding business has grown from strength to strength, and with recent new contracts awarded they are seeking a skilled injection moulding shift leader to help with the extra workload.Working on a 3 shift system (rotating weeks of earlies, lates and nights), this is a technical role and will be supported by a Setter, and will be supervising a team of operators. It is planned that the shift will be moving to a continental pattern later in the year.As Shift Leader your duties will include -

Being responsible for all moulding activity on shift

Managing a team made up of Setter, operators and a material handler.

Setting machines and advanced trouble shooting

Tool trialling

Process optimization

Robot modification and programming

To be successful in this role the ideal Candidate will -

Be an experienced Moulding Setter / Technician

Have experience of tool trialling

Have worked with robots

Have experience of running a shift
