Summary If youre interested in becoming a Retail Team Leader and have the appetite to engage with visitors and boost our retail potential, then you could be the person for this job.This role is full time, 37.5 hours a week on a fixed term contract until 30 May 2023. What its like to work here Cliveden’s Italianate mansion, riverside setting and family-friendly events draw visitors all year round, making this property a busy location with a wide range of opportunities. There is always plenty to do at the 375-acre estate, with conservation of the South Terrace among recent projects. Cliveden team are close-knit with a wonderful sense of community. The location is quiet, so youll need your own transport to get here.There are 3 catering outlets; The Conservatory Café, The Dolls House and Catering Kiosk for all visitors to enjoy a bit to eat! There are a series of impressive formal gardens with far-reaching views, an abundance of bedding change throughout the seasons and an intimate Rose Garden for those wanting a little bit of peace and tranquility. Click here for more information about this location What youll be doing Youll be required to support the day to day management of the property retail operation so that it is commercially successful and consistently exceeds our visitors expectations. Youll monitor stock and merchandise products to achieve stretching financial targets, leading by example when it comes to maximising our profitability and income. Youll also supervise paid and voluntary retail staff and work effectively alongside colleagues elsewhere in the property to deliver great service to visitors, promoting and enhancing the propertys sense of place.Please see role profile attached for more information.
