Behaviour Support Worker - Specialist Provision - Maidenhead - September start - Pay Scale: £65-£80 - Experience working with children required

CRIMINOLOGY GRADUATES WANTED - Fantastic Opportunity for Psychology/Criminology/related degree Graduates!An exciting opportunity has opened up for an enthusiastic graduate or a confident, experienced Graduate Behaviour Support Worker to join an Outstanding Ofsted rated Specialist Provision School in Maidenhead. This position will be full time. You will be working within either KS3 or KS4, dependant on where your experience lies.This specialist Autistic Provision Specialist School are looking for someone with a graduate background in Criminology (Psychology and Sociology also accepted) to join their learning support team. This SEN Learning Support Assistant role is based on holistic,therapeutic and Restorative practices designed to meet the needs of students with complex needs aged 3-16. CAN you demonstrate the value of an education to a child Restorative Practice is a way of finding behaviour we want to promote, and supporting it toblossom.Alongside their primary diagnosis of Autism, many of the students will have a secondary diagnosis of a mental health need, such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD. Many students will have experienced traumas at home, from drug abuse, physical abuse, and more.This is a fantastic opportunity for an Aspiring School Counsellor to gain valuable experience working alongside Rehabilitation Officers, Social Workers, and Educational Psychologists, to ensure they are brought back onto the right pathBehaviour Support Worker - Autism Specialist Provision - Maidenhead

  • Working with Students with Autism, Aspergers, OCD, ADHD and Learning Difficulties, classes of 6-8 - 1:1 and small group focus
  • £75 per day PAYE (No umbrella agencies), 08.15 to 16.15, term time only
  • ABA and CBT Therapies deployed, delivering key skills where students could re-enter the mainstream or be safe in their education.
