Job Description

This role (remote, home based) is for an ERP or MRP / MES implementation Consultant with sound knowledge of the manufacturing sector, to cross train to Sage solutions. It is to work solely on Sage 200 manufacturing projects so typically youll bedealing with clients with a £30 million turnover who are involved in areas such as make to order and make to stock (MTS) type manufacturing, generally used for highly configured product manufacturing such as vehicles, high tech and servers, and high-cost aircraft.Starting salary to c £50k + car allowance, bonus, private healthcare, and a rewards scheme.You will know that perfecting make-to-order techniques requires a smart use of resources, production lines, and workforces, and that, as such, a make-to-order manufacturer will need a lot of specific functionality in their ERP software, such as product configurator,bill of materials, CPQ (configuring, pricing, quoting), supply chain management, production planning and sales order management.The job is with a well-known ERP software consultancy who have longevity, kudos, a fabulous referenceable client list, and an excellent reputation. They will cross train a good manufacturing Implementation Consultant who has full implementation project andlife cycle expertise, and is motivated, professional, analytical, and well organised in a remote, home-based position. You work well with existing and new clients, to define and process their business requirements, and you can manage each customers needsand set proper and realistic expectations.Ideally you have solid experience of high-quality ERP / MRP software implementations within a consulting environment and have worked with solutions such as Javelin Vero, Epicor, ECi M1, IQMS, Rootstock, Plex Software, Pegasus Operations (manufacturingmodule of Opera) K3 Syspro, WinMan, Priority ERP, Infor M3, Greentree, SAP Business One, IFS, EMAX, Tricorn, Valuechain, JBA or similar manufacturing ERP software.As well as your ERP knowledge, you offer excellent interpersonal skills, you are collaborative, have high standards, you perform under pressure, you can work on multiple projects simultaneously, and you like a fast-paced environment that challenges you.Youll get solid career path here, you will continue to increase your knowledge of the manufacturing sector, you will learn Sage 200, and youll work with some great people - many of whom have been with the company for more than 10 years, which is testimonyto how well they treat their staff.Contact Jake King or Carolyn MacLurg at Ambis for more info or to apply.
