CK Group are recruiting for a Statistician to join a company in the Pharmaceutical industry working at their site based in Macclesfield with hybrid working on a contract basis for 6 months.Hourly/Daily Rate:Up to a maximum daily rate of £501.00 (Ltd/Umb) or £488.00 (PAYE).Hours of work or shifts - 40 hours a week.Essential Requirements: Educated to BSc level with a significant statistical/mathematical component as well as established experience in similar roles. User of at least one statistical package, e.g. Minitab, SAS, R and an understanding and practical application of key statistical concepts, e.g. descriptive statistics, statistical distributions, sampling strategies and sample size determination, equivalenceand significance tests including analysis of variance and covariance techniques, DOE. Application of Statistical Process Control, e.g. trending, capability analysis for manufacturing data and application of exploratory data analysis and regression/correlation techniques for exploring relationships within manufacturing/scientific datasets. Production of appropriate graphs and figures for highlighting features and trends within manufacturing/scientific datasets. Preparation of technical reports describing data analysis including appropriate use of tables and visualisations. Evidence of excellent communication skills and relationship building with customers.Statistician Role: Provide statistical support to formulation and analytical technology transfers, including process establishment, process validation, process capability assessments and equivalence testing. Be part of a cross platform statistical community, providing technical support across TOSI. Provide support for the resolution of issues through data assessment and analysis to understand relationships and root causes.
