Job Description

Join our team!Are you an experienced Administrator Come and join us at Elior on a fixed-term basis for 18 months!Our offices are based in London and Macclesfield, linked via good public transport routes. They are sociable and open spaces with fantastic restaurant/catering facilities.Lunch subsidies / free refreshments and snacks are offered.What youll be doing...The role of the Pensions Coordinator would be to support the submission of pension data as well as support some of the general administration of the schemes. We work with a large number of pension funds within the LGPS as well NHS Pensions.Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Pension Advisor with the administration, recording and submission of pension contributions using existing software and Excel systems.
  • Communicating with pension funds to ensure accurate and timely reporting of member data, specifically dealing with member queries and leaver forms.
  • Support the Pension Advisor with the monthly balancing of pension contributions for LGPS and NHS pension funds.
  • Send out the monthly submission of remittances to pension funds.
  • Help manage the Excel spreadsheets and logs that enable accurate processing and latest status for all applications for Admitted Body Status.
  • Support the Pension Advisor with pension year-end processing, setting up of new pension schemes within the payroll system and adjusting employer rates.
  • Work with the Pension Advisor to complete reviews of sales tenders to ensure that pension risks are identified during the tender process.

  • Accurate reports are sent out on a timely basis.
  • Systems are kept up to date and updates are communicated and tested thoroughly.
  • Works closely with all key stakeholders to help deliver system updates and changes.
  • Takes the initiative and is proactive in their learning and understanding of the wide range of HR systems in use.
  • Seen as a trusted team member by the HR team and wider business.
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday - 37.5 hours a week - Hybrid workingWhat can you bringIn this role:
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and statutory timescales.
  • Previous pension administration experience is not essential but would be desirable.
  • The ability to direct their own workload and manage their time effectively.
  • Desire to increase knowledge of LGPS, NHS, and Civil Service pensions administration.
  • Highly organised with excellent, demonstrable Microsoft Office skills.
  • A team player with a flexible approach to work and job variety.
