Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contracts Manager to join our team. As a Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the execution of contracts in various sectors, including Healthcare, Education, Hospitality,and Commercial Property.To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar position, with a background in either mechanical or plumbing. You should also possess a strong commercial and contractual understanding, ensuring that all contractsare executed efficiently and effectively. A full clean driving license is required for this role, as there may be a need to travel to different project sites.The Role

  • Management of a team of Plumbing, Heating and Gas engineers. Providing leadership, guidance and mentoring to ensure high quality is achieved as standard.
  • Ability to complete site surveys, estimate and deliver small works to £250k (To budget)
  • Ability to complete site surveys, quotations for complete building service maintenance contracts.
  • Experience of working with and managing subcontractors
  • Work with the relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure contractual SLAs are exceeded.
  • Build, expand and maintain client relationships.
  • Maintain training programmes ensuring your team are correctly trained for the activities they undertake.
  • To comply and keep up to date with Gas Safety Standards/Water regulations.
  • Keep the service team updated with the latest trade technologies and industry best practices.
  • Prepare and present weekly/monthly reporting as required by senior management.
  • Assist and conduct with HR in performance evaluations and staff development programs.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly in all forms, effectively and act in a professional manner at all times.
Essential experience/qualifications:
  • Experience in a similar role (Min 3+ years)
  • Mechanical or Plumbing background
  • Commercial & Contractual understanding
  • Full clean driving license
  • Willing to undergo a DBS full disclosure
  • Experience across the following sectors - Healthcare, Education, Hospitality, Commercial Property
  • Fully IT literate with an understanding of CRM systems
The following would be advantageous but not essential:
  • In date qualifications:
    • Domestic Gas (CCN1, CENWHAT, CKR1)
    • Commercial Gas Qualifications (COCN 1, CIGA1)
    • Commercial Catering Qualifications (COMCAT)
    • Experience with Oil/LPG & Qualifications
    • Water Regulations (WIAPS), Unvented Cylinders (BPEC G3), Legionella, HVAC Experience
  • Current CSCS card
  • SMSTS Supervision
  • First Aid Trained
