SJC Partners have been mandated by a highly innovative and rapidly growing advisory firm, that specialise in developing new management-led buy-build groups, to recruit a highly motivated recently qualified Accountant to assume a wide range of deal-supportresponsibilities.Reporting into the MD, the successful individual could lead a number of projects with examples being:* Sector research (market forces, buyers, sellers, deal analysis)* Target prospecting (identifying companies which fit acquisition thesis)* Target outreach (engaging with long-list target management teams)* Client databook preparation (preparing for analysis, modelling & IM writing) * Preparing transaction Information Memorandums* Preparing transaction pricing calculator* Direct contact with targets, clients, buyers, sellers, funders, partners* Discussing/presenting ideas within the team and with clientsYou will also help to train and develop a number of graduates who are engaged in data collection, enrichment and research activities.Applicants must be qualified (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) with prior experience in deals a big plus but by no means a pre-requisite. Perhaps you will be a newly qualified audit individual now looking for their first move into deals/the investment world.
