Job Description

Accounts and Payroll Assistant | Congleton | Circa £27,000 | Brilliant CharityAn enthusiastic Accounts and Payroll Assistant is required by a growing charity based near Macclesfield. This great charity is looking for a confident and enthusiastic candidate with brilliant payroll / accounts payable experience. This is a varied role,with great opportunities for progression and growth in your career.An annual salary of up to £27,000 is available depending on experience. This is an office-based position.Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the weekly payroll processing and out of cycle adjustments if required, using XERO
  • Responding to payroll queries
  • Producing and distribute pay statement and P45s to relevant parties
  • Ensure wages and tax withholdings comply with regulations Payroll, end of month, end of year, Board, WH&S, and ad-hoc reporting and analysis
  • Working with the payroll system, rostering, time and attendance along with maintenance and upkeep of the payroll database
Requirements
  • Great experience within a similar role
  • Relevant and current experience in medium to large enterprise payroll systems
  • Experience and competency using the MS Office Suite
