Job Description

A leading marketing technology business is building a world-class marketing team to continue their growth trajectory and establish their brand worldwide. Theyre now looking for a Content Marketing Manager to join their team in Leeds.Content forms the core of the companys marketing programme, and they are looking for an experienced Content Manager to take the lead in driving the efficiency and effectiveness of all their written and video content including website, social, white papers,and email.The company thinks that 90% of B2B content is boring, repetitive and badly executed. So theyre looking for someone that not only shares that view but has the passion and ideas to do things better.Their clients see them as a superhero brand that enables them to outcompete much larger competitors, so you need to be able to communicate this in a way that is entertaining, informative and relevant.Youll be joining a young, agile and ambitious marketing team that has grown from two to seven in the last year.In return, you will enjoy the benefits and opportunities that come with working for a cutting-edge, high growth digital technology company.Responsibilities of this role include:

  • Ensuring that the content strategy is aligned with the wider marketing and company goals
  • Setting clear goals for our all content channels and campaigns, and taking ownership for achieving them
  • Providing leadership to members of the content team, and guidance for other team members involved in contributing content
  • Building processes and using technologies to help measure and incrementally increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the content programme
  • Embedding Bidnamics agile principles of speed, experimentation, learning and accountability within the content team
  • Leading by example in creating, editing and proofing content including website, white papers, social media, presentations, email and digital PR
  • Setting a very high bar for content quality, and ensuring all content is consistent with our brand values
Key Requirements:
  • Minimum two years experience in a content marketing role (for an agency or in-house) working in a team environment to deliver high-quality content across multiple channels
  • Someone who is frustrated by mediocrity and has passion for delivering engaging, relevant content that represents what Bidnamic stands for
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills (almost goes without saying)
  • Advanced understanding of all aspects of SEO (also almost goes without saying)
  • A marketing techie who has expertise with the HubSpot Marketing and Website platform, or transferable skills from using a comparable technology
  • Comfortable with using an efficiency-focused project management platform (we use Wrike, but again you might have transferable skills from another platform)
  • A great cultural fit: scrupulously honest, a great team player, willing to take risks and be accountable for the results
