Are you an experienced HSES & S Manager looking for an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in a COMAH (Control of Major Accident Hazards) site If you are a proactive leader with a strong background in health, safety, environment, security,and process safety management, we want to hear from you!Competitive salary up to £80,000 per annum.£7,000 car allowance.Comprehensive benefits package, pension scheme, 25 days holiday plus public holidays.The site is in Tyne and WearResponsibilities:Develop and implement effective health, safety, environmental, security, and process safety management systems for our COMAH site.Oversee compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and company policies.Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.Provide expert advice and guidance on HSES & S matters to site management and staff.Lead incident investigations and ensure appropriate actions are taken to prevent reoccurrence.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver HSES & S training programs and initiatives.Monitor and report on HSES & S performance, including the preparation of reports and presentations for senior management.Requirements:Proven experience as an HSES & S Manager in a COMAH site or similar high-risk environment.In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and industry best practices.Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification in health and safety management.Experience in conducting incident investigations and implementing corrective actions.Proactive mindset with the ability to drive continuous improvement in HSES & S performance.Knowledge of ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001 standards is highly desirable.Benefits:A supportive work environment that values teamwork, innovation, and employee well-being.If you are passionate about HSES & S management and thrive in a challenging and fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.
