Workshop Manager - PermanentSalary - Up to £50k Location - Loughborough Hours - Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm Workshop Manager / Driving / Mechanics / Fleet / Supercars / Loughborough / PermanentThe Recruitment Group is working with a family run business that is one of the UKs premier operators of bespoke Driving Experiences, they pride themselves on delivering exceptional customer experience.Purpose of the Workshop Manager role:Our client is looking for a Workshop Manager to be responsible for recruiting, training, and managing the team within the performance vehicle workshop. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in management, with the drive to enhance the departmentssuccess and industry-specific experience.Main duties and responsibilities of a Workshop Manager:. Recruit, train, and manage your team of Mechanics and Valeters. . Ensure business objectives are executed properly and against a given timeframe. . Oversee the day-to-day running of the workshop. . Coordinate and manage team schedules and availability. . Oversee a transitional period and implement new infrastructure internally to support positive change and development. . Suggest and manage new methods of working to heighten proficiency. . Liaise closely with the parts department and ensure part availability and warranty procedures are adhered to. . Ensure the department stays within the budget and cars are maintained at the highest level. . Generate monthly efficiency and financial reports to be presented to the MD.Experience/knowledge requirements for a Workshop Manager:. Ability to work well under pressure and motivate a team.. Experience in a Team Leader/Workshop Manager role in a race/motorsport environment.. Possess first-class industry knowledge with insightful analytical skills. . Strong leadership skills with great problem-solving ability. . Innovative and resourceful with the ability to implement new working processes. . Ability to provide strong coaching and mentoring to peers and colleagues. . Able to analyse and identify faults and repair methods on a case-by-case basis. .
