The CompanyYou will join an industry leading organisation who offer excellent career opportunities.The RoleManaging a team of Planners you will lead supply chain activities across European operations with responsibilities including production planning, scheduling, material issues resolution, supply chain strategy development / execution and SIOP Lead. Key dutiesinclude-Build and maintain a high performing team (training, coaching, developing and staffing).Develop and manage the plant Master Production Schedule.Communicate material supply issues proactively with all required business functions.Optimize inventory and strive for continuous improvement across the supply chain.Create and execute supply chain strategies which support growth, customer satisfaction, product cost management and forecast accuracy.Develop, maintain and continually improve inventory & service parameters and relevant supply chain master data settings.Work collaboratively with our channel partners to develop inventory and replenishment plans that support the requirements of the business.Develop and own inventory ramp-up plans for new products / promotions and inventory "burn-off" plans for obsolete and discontinued products.What youll need to succeedYou will be able to operate effectively in a fast paced planning environment and lead a team in the successful development & deployment of Supply Chain strategy. This position requires a high degree of analytical capability (MPS and MRP processes) to optimizethe balance between customer expectations, inventory, capacity, lead-time and other supply chain factors.
