Job Description

Kelly Services are looking for an experienced Laser Machine Setter and Operator to join a well-known and respected manufacturer in Loughborough, Leicestershire. Paying an hourly rate between £12 and £16 depending on experience.Pay £12 - £16 per hour depending on experience.Rotating shift pattern 6 am - 2 pm and 2 pm to 10 pmSet shifts available 2 pm to 10 pm29 Holidays days including bank holidaysCompany benefits

The Role As an experienced machine setter, you will set up and operate the laser cutting and punching machines to produce precision metal components. Key Responsibilities
  • Configure and set up laser cutting and punching machines according to product specifications.
  • Program and adjust machine settings, including speed, power, and tooling, to achieve precise measurements and shapes.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and report any issues to the maintenance department.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, maintaining a safe work environment for all team members.
  • Work closely with other team members and departments to meet production goals.
Experience
  • Proven experience as a Laser Cutting/Punching Machine Setter Operator, with expertise in setting up and operating laser cutting and punching machines.
  • Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong knowledge of machine operation and tooling.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
