Job Description

Beacon Academy is situated in Loughborough, with approximately 395 children on roll including a Moderate Learning Difficulty (MLD) resource unit and a Nursery. This position will be a highly rewarding role with the potential to make a significant and sustained impact on our school and community in which it sits.We are looking for a passionate, motivated and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work in partnership with teaching and other educational support staff. You will need to be caring, enthusiastic and flexible with the ability to work under the direction ofthe Class Teacher and also use your own initiative.The successful candidate will support the child, enabling them to successfully access the Curriculum. Working as part of a small team requires a teaching assistant who is adaptable and able to work collaboratively with members of the school and wider community.We are particularly keen to hear from staff who have knowledge of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) and Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH).About Academies Enterprise TrustAET was established in 2008 and is now a national network of 57 primary, secondary, and special schools.
