Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time Assistant Grounds Maintenance person for our client based in Loughborough. Our client prides themselves in looking after their grounds and this is a fantastic opportunity for the role of a part-time AssistantGrounds Maintenance person paying £10.50 per hour.Hours:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 7am to 11am
About the part-time Grounds Maintenance role:As a part-time Assistant Grounds Maintenance person, you will be responsible for the:
  • Maintenance of the grounds which will include cutting and mowing the grass, border maintenance, strimming, etc
  • General ad hoc jobs around the campus
About You:
  • You need to be happy working outdoors
  • You need to have a good background in gardening
  • You need to have experience and be confident
  • You may be working on your own on some occasions so need to be able to prioritise your workload.
Experience:
  • Previous ground maintenance and gardening experience
  • Experience in using powered equipment and maintenance of equipment
  • Health & safety knowledge
  • PA1 & PA6 spraying licenses would be preferred
  • Garden or Horticultural qualifications would be beneficial but not essential
  • Full, clean UK driving license
  • Willing to work in all weathers
  • Be able to work as part of a team
Pay Rate:
  • £10.50 per hour
