Job Description

Job Title: Inventory CoordinatorCompany: Our client is a market leading, global organisation, providing a one stop source to its clients.Position Summary:As an Inventory Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of products and suppliers at a European level. Your primary focus will be on optimising customer satisfaction and service levels while efficiently managing inventory investment.You will analyse large data sets, utilise advanced Excel tools such as pivot tables and Vlookups, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve inventory quality and supplier delivery performance.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure service level targets, such as fill rate and availability, are met.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders within the business.
  • Track shipments of purchase orders and take necessary actions in case of unusual delays.
  • Manage the data flow through each stage of a purchase order, providing updates and ensuring timely dispatch.
  • Maintain data accuracy in the system and ensure high levels of internal customer service.
  • Drive improved supplier performance through metrics and weekly performance reviews.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications / Competencies:
  • Experience in purchasing/inventory management in a distribution environment.
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems and methods.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to use advanced Excel features.
  • Proven ability to process and analyse large volumes of data and make accurate decisions based on facts.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
