Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Housekeeper to work in Loughborough. The Housekeeper role is covering a long-term sick position and is paying 10.42 per hour to 13.55. The Housekeeping role is working 5 hours a day spread over Mondayto Sunday. Shift Pattern: . Week 1: Mon, Wed, Thu & Fri . Week 2: Mon, Fri, Sat & Sun . Week 3: Mon, Wed, Thu & Fri Housekeeper responsibilities:. To liaise with Housekeeping Co-ordinator regarding the daily activities of children and staff in order to organise your own work schedule . To carry out daily cleaning of all clinical areas on the cleaning schedules . To undertake cleaning of remaining areas in accordance with the cleaning schedule . To undertake deep cleaning of clinical areas as required and in line with infection control procedures . To launder hospice linen including towels and bed linen. To be responsible for checking all linen for repair and keeping linen room tidy and stock checked . To launder the childrens and young peoples clothes as required . To liaise with the Facilities Team regarding repairs/maintenance work required . To maintain the confidentiality of children, young people, and families at all times and respect the confidentiality of all staff affairs . To undertake agreed projects either individually or in a team, using own initiative where necessary . When necessary, assist with the moving and handling of furniture in preparation for the arrival of children and young people . Ensure that the family accommodation is cleaned to a high standard . Ensure that the colour coding policy for domestic equipment is adhered to at all times . Ensure that all products and materials are used in accordance with manufacturers instructions and CoSHH procedures and assessments . Ensure that all products are stored in line with CoSHH procedures . To perform periodic tasks including curtain changing, organising carpet cleaning, or steam cleaning rugs and curtains About you: .
