About you:You are somebody who loves to question the status quo, not except the established norm and are comfortable about being candid on the issues you face and enthusiastic about the opportunities you encounter.You are passionate about wanting to coach, mentor and develop both your team and Access to new highs.Experienced Cobol developer (preferably MicroFocus) as well as knowledge of SQL Server. .Net experienced would also be highly advantageous, but not essential.Proven track record of working in an Agile environment.Day-to-day, you will:Work with the team to ensure that projects can be planned appropriately (team understands scope, risk and complexity and is able to estimate)Support Product so that milestones and timelines can be set and metEnsuring Projects are delivered to time, budget, scheduleProvide updates on status of projects and milestonesEnsure team follows processes and definitions of doneWork with Support to ensure a close and harmonious relationship between support and development.Liaise with stakeholders and development team to ensure that questions are appropriately assessed and addressed.Consider the quality approach at each stage of the development life cycleEnsuring appropriate quality gates are in place (pre-grooming, code reviews, dev tests, functional tests, regression, post deployment testing (if required))As a well-rounded Team Leader, your Skills and Experiences likely include: Ensuring that appropriate technical standards are followed and improvements proposedManagement of technical roadmaps and scheduling of issues.Experience in defining processes and KPIs to alleviate waste and improve determinismComfortable working in the .Net, Cobol and SQL Server ecosystem.Comfortable working with SVN and Git configuration management systems.Experienced in leading a team and managing Scrum Teams, Tribes and Squads.Developing teams and individuals to be the best that they can bePerformance managementWhat does Access offer youWe are a growing software company and we deliver on what we say we do!
