Job Description

You would be responsible for the development of relationships with all suppliers,resolve any day to day issues and support wider supply chain performance objectives.This unique opportunity is immediately available and permanent!   • Effectively manage supplier relationships to optimise performance and maintain professional working relationships
  • Ensure scheduling timely deliveries to support customer demand whilst satisfying business requirements (Delivery, Inventory, Cost and quality)
  • Verify demand driven by MRP and take appropriate actions in response to changes in demand, inventory levels and supply issues
  • Requests for quotation, purchase orders and expediting activity to ensure timely delivery
  • Maintain integrity of system data
  • Responsible for the overall management of your selected categories and suppliers
  • Responsible for alignment and management of supplier key measures of performance
  • Travelling across different sites
Our Buyer Candidate;
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & SAP
  • Experience managing MRP demand within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience within Procurement/Supply chain role
  • Good negotiating and influencing skills
  • Willing to work towards a CIPS
  • Focused, committed with the ability to work with minimal supervision
