You will join one of the local teams in either Watford, Three Rivers, Stevenage, Welwyn & Hatfield, East Herts or Broxbourne.Take your youth work experience to the next level and lead a team thats giving young people the best start in life.Do you havewhat it takes to help young people develop the skills and confidence they need to succeedManaging a small team of Youth Support Workers and volunteers, you will plan, deliver and evaluate a range of groupwork projects for young people aged 11 to 17 on issuesranging from substance misuse to independent living skills. You will also work one-to-one with vulnerable and at-risk young people to help improve their future prospects. Were looking for people who have experience of youth work (in a paid or voluntary capacity)and are ready for the next step in their career. Capable of handling safeguarding issues and health and safety, youll also have the ability to shape local curriculum programmes to address service users needs and meet the specific challenges they face.Youwill have good organisational and planning skills and the ability to forge relationships with a range of partner organisations. Record-keeping and IT skills are essential.
