Job Description

Role: Workshop Foreman / SupervisorLocation: Wembley, Greater LondonHours: 7.30am - 5.00pm Monday to FridayPackage: £35,000 - £40,000 & company van or travel allowanceMy client is an independent family business providing a range of services to the trades and labour sector for over 30 years. They are looking for anexperienced Workshop Foreman / Supervisor for their Wembley site.The Role

  • Fault-finding and repairing a wide range of small tools, equipment and plant
  • Motivating, training and developing a workshop-based team of fitters
  • Identifying business priorities and distributing work accordingly
  • Dealing with suppliers, ordering spares and managing external repairs
  • Ensuring that all administrative tasks are complete to a high standard
  • Reporting to the depot manager and service manager
  • The Requirements
  • Experience from an in-house maintenance department or plant yard of a construction / utilities company, or a manufacturer of equipment
  • Managerial or supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of petrol / diesel / two-stroke engines, hydraulics, pneumatics etc.
  • A positive, proactive and flexible style
  • An eye for detail and organisation
